Microsoft Inc. Bing App & Google Inc. Maps & Apple Inc. IPhone = Total Annoyance Guaranteed

This should be an easy Christmas Eve morning, playing around with my (not really) loved IPhone.

First I was checking Baltimore, MD on Google Maps on the IPhone. Google Maps found Baltimore in a matter of seconds, but even some seconds later, I was informed that my location could not be determined. Obviously the IPhone could not pick up the GPS satellite signals in the room I was. Which is not a big deal. Ok.

IPhone Google Maps

Your location could not be
determined.

OK

But, Google Maps was so persistent, to send this stupid modal dialog box, every other minute! Just imagine you want to surf Google Maps, and then this stupid modal dialog box, pops up every other 60 seconds! Wow, this really s***s! How can the geniuses of Apple Inc. and Google Inc. ever build such a kind of software? This is really crapware instead!

Let's try a work around

So to get rid of this annoying modal dialog box error message, I have turned off Location Services. This should do the trick! After all, how can we all endure the stupid and arrogant IPhone software without all of those work arounds?

Then I wanted to check something using that horrible Microsoft Bing App. And you would not believe what kind of error message I have gotten after turning Location Services off!?

Microsoft Inc. Bing App

Turn On Location Services to
Allow "Bing" to Determine
Your Location

Settings Cancel

Wow, this is incredible! If Location Services are turned on, then the stupid Bing App, will always ask me, if it can get my location. If Location Services are turned off, then it asks me to turn on Location Services. WTF is going on here. Who the f***k is in charge of the IPhone in my hands? Apparently not me! :-(

Will these horrible and stupid companies

Google Inc.
Apple Inc.
Microsoft Inc.

never let me decide, how I want to use

MY

IPhone?

This is really the total annoyance achieved by all those extra smart guys working for all of those top IT companies. It is just weird, stupid, and whatever ...

Merry Christmas!
